Mojo Barriers expands Scottish presence with Glasgow Summer Sessions

Jim GaffneyMojo Barriers expanded its Scottish presence this year, supplying stage barriers for the brand new urban music programme Glasgow Summer Sessions, 15,17 and 20 August 2013.

Headliners Kings of Leon, Tiny Tempah and Eminem were among the artists to grace the stage at the inaugural event which took place at Bellahousten Park.

Jim Gaffney, Mojo Barriers’ UK director, comments: “This was a new location for us so required careful planning with DF Concerts when it came to layout and configuration. We supplied 300m of our aluminium barriers, used primarily on the main stage. All of the artists’ attract an excitable crowd of a wide demographic so we installed a secondary barrier line to ease crowd pressure.”

The event follows a busy summer for the Mojo team in Scotland, supplying T in the Park – where they worked with Glasgow Summer Session’s site manager John Wilson – and the Stone Roses at Glasgow Green.
