ConcertsApril 2006 - MOJO BARRIERS RAISE THE BAR AT
WEMBLEY ARENA

Mojo Barriers supplied their plastic bar barrier system for the opening shows at the newly re-opened Wembley Arena.

Wembley ArenaWembley Arena is probably London’s most famous concert venue and having undergone a £35million refurbishment, it re-opened its doors this April with two sold out shows by Depeche Mode. The venue was configured with the audience standing on the floor level of Wembley, so they could be served them in that area without having to leave to the upper concourses. Wembley contacted Mojo Barriers to supply a 30m bar barrier for merchandise and beverage concessions to service the standing audience.

Mojo Barriers are finding their temporary plastic bar system increasingly popular, with recent clients ranging from sports grounds including the Millennium Stadium (Cardiff) and Kent County Cricket Club, to clothing, food and beverage concessions at outdoor concerts and festivals including Hyde Park concerts, V Festival and Leeds and Reading Festivals.

Mojo Barriers had also supplied the especially shaped front of house Mojo aluminium black stage barrier for the whole Depeche Mode European tour. The barrier included a relatively tight curve that followed the curve of the stage catwalk.

Mojo Barriers have enjoyed a truly international start to 2006 supplying touring front of stage barrier systems to U2 and Rolling Stones World tours, Queen and Bon Jovi US tours, European tours by Depeche Mode, Jack Johnson, and the Big Day Out Festival in Australia.
