FestivalsAug 2006 - V victory for Mojo Barriers UK

Mojo Barriers supplied and installed over 1,100 metres of Mojo front of stage barrier system to the V-Festivals at Hylands Park and Weston Park.

V FestivalThis year’s V Festivals took place on two sites, featuring artists including Morrissey, Faithless, Radiohead, Razorlight among a wide line up across four stages.

Having liaised with the production team, Maztech, who looked after both sites, Mojo Barriers supplied 563m to Chelmsford (managed by Danny Butlin) and 540m to Stafford (manage by Pete Burns), using a either Mojo Aluminium or Pit Stop Steel systems on different stages.

They also supplied 250metres of their Mojo Bar Barrier to each site, 60 hardwood picnic benches for the Virgin hospitality areas, and 250metres of ‘crowd control street barriers’ for queuing lanes.

As the final notes drifted across the festival sites, Mojo’s crew moved in to remove the barriers for cleaning and inspection before transporting them on to the next weekends events, Carling Leeds and Reading Festivals and Creamfields. The barrier system from Leeds then goes on to do Robbie Williams at Hampden Park and the barrier at Reading goes on to cover the Cardiff Mardi Gras and Bestival in The Isle Of Wight, both a week later.Top
