Mojo’s plastic bar barrier system has excelled itself in 2006, helping to serve hundreds of thousands of thirsty fans at arena events throughout Europe. Two of its most spectacular successes took place at the Amsterdam Arena and the Gelredome in Arnhem, where Mojo Barriers Netherlands office has maintained longstanding service agreements.
Alex Borger is Mojo’s Bar Barrier manager, who said: “The temporary barrier has been designed to fulfil all the functions needed of an event bar. Its stainless steel tops offer an easily cleaned surface for serving drinks, while a specially designed till section contains secure, computer-monitored cash and credit card handling facilities. The bar has come into its own with venue’s, as it can be easily installed it to convenient locations for the public, for example on the pitch area rather than making people find their way to a stadium’s permanent bar area at intervals or during the show.” One of the key features of the Mojo system is its ability to withstand
the pressure that a thirsty public can put on a crowded bar. Although
made of plastic, this barrier is extremely tough and the audience-side
plastic footplate uses the crowd pressure to strengthen and stabilise
the product. |
