SafetyNov 2008 - Mojo Barriers ties up Pink Ribbon Award

The Pink Ribbon Award, staged in Amsterdam at the opening of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, required the most reliable events infrastructure available, including two rows of Mojo Barriers.

Pink RibbonOrganisers decided to mark the occasion by lighting up Amsterdam’s iconic concert hall, Het Concertgebouw, in pink, installing two 16 metre sections of barrier either side of the building’s neo classical entrance. Mojo Barriers worked with the specialist Dutch lighting company Primo Exposures to protect the public from the large array of lighting effects ranged along the front of the building, which were used to create the spectacular look.

“Mojo Barriers was able to demonstrate its versatility for the Pink Ribbon Awards,” says Mojo Barriers Managing Director Patrick Jordan. “As well as their well-known event crowd-management function, our barriers are ideal for audio-visual installations such as this one, which protect both people and equipment. It was a real pleasure to work on this internationally acclaimed charity event.”
